Uri Geller:
in person at Gallery k
Saturday 17 December from 2pm to 6pm

Uri Geller is internationally acclaimed for his phenomenal paranormal and psychic powers. His fascinating demonstrations of softening and bending metal objects are received throughout the world with an equal measure of amazement and scepticism.

But Uri has another talent that is not so well known, but is undeniable: he is an artist. Drawing and painting has absorbed him since early childhood and it developed into a passion during the 1970s when he met Salvador Dali. Dali became his mentor and exercised a powerful influence on his style.

Uri Geller’s work has featured in major galleries and museums in the USA, Europe, Israel and Japan, and recently Gallery K introduced it in Greece. However, this will be his first exhibition in London. It will feature painted plates and dishes, created in various materials, including glass, crystal, porcelain, ceramics and metals.

Uri will be at Gallery K to sign and personalise all objects purchased; they make unique holiday-season gifts. He will also be donating a percentage of all sales to a charity for children with special needs (the Radiomarathon Foundation). Please join us for a festive glass of wine and a mince pie.

BUT TAKE CARE: YOUR WATCHES MAY START MOVING ANTI-CLOCKWISE !

Saturday 17 December from 2pm to 6pm
Gallery K 101-102 Heath Street, Hampstead, NW3
